Shout Websites Ltd has been building websites for businesses across South Devon for over a quarter of a century. Two technologies, deeply:

• WordPress — the most widely used content management system in the world, the one we have built thousands of sites on, and the one that gives our clients lasting independence (your site is yours, not locked to a proprietary builder)
• Divi 5 — the visual page builder we use to design every site. Fully licensed, professionally configured, and trained for handover so you can update content yourself without needing us for every small change

We choose those two because they work together to deliver fast, manageable, future-proof sites without the lock-in of platforms like Wix, Squarespace or Shopify.

How we work

Every project starts with a conversation. Free, no commitment, half an hour on the phone or in the Newton Abbot office. We figure out whether what you need is what we do — and we say so directly if it isn't.

If we're a fit, the build runs in four phases:

1. Strategy and copy planning — what the site needs to do, who it serves, what each page is for
2. Design and build — happens in-house on Apple Macs, in Divi 5, on our own staging servers
3. Review, copy and launch — you see it, comment, we iterate, we go live
4. Handover and training — one-on-one walkthrough so you can manage the site yourself

Most starter projects launch within four weeks of sign-off.

What we charge

Two simple options:

• Starter websites from £250 — a small business website covering the essentials, ready to launch
• Retainer at £300/month — ongoing hosting, updates, content support and local SEO

Larger projects (e-commerce shops, membership sites, multi-location businesses) are quoted per project. There are no hidden tiers — every quote is written down and explained.

The technical stack we run for clients:

• Restrict Content Pro for membership functionality

We hold agency licences for the paid tools, so the licence cost doesn't get added to your build invoice.
